What’s Northland CAPS???

Northland CAPS is a great way to explore future interests and to actually see what the real world experience would be like in that professional field. Many students from Liberty North High School participate in Northland CAPS. Many of the students are involved in the medical strand.

“It’s a lot different than the career center. We do a lot of hands on things. We’ve learned how to give shots, and a lot of different stuff. Second semester we will be shadowing actual doctors and we’ve been to 3 different hospitals so far,” senior Willow Arnold said.

Northland CAPS isn’t for everyone but it is a good way to find out the career path that is right for you before officially committing. Sign up through the counselors or on the website.

“This is my first year and my counselor told me about it. I’ve always like medical stuff but I took Northland CAPS to make sure this is what I wanted to do. My favorite part about Northland CAPS is being in the hospital environment,” Arnold said.
