Meet the Court- 2016 Homecoming King Candidates

Alma MacDonald:

  1. I like to read and write and dance and sing. Pretty much anything fine arts.
  2. I enjoy playing competitive sports like soccer and baseball.
  3. I ice skate.
  4. I love to be in clubs. I’m in 15 different clubs.
  5. Religiously, I’m a mormon.

Senior Advice- Get involved and do what you love. There are lots of options here at Liberty North that you can get involved in. Like I said, I’m in 15 different clubs and I feel like high school would’ve been way different if I came here, did my work, and went home. I don’t think I would’ve nearly enjoyed it as much if I wouldn’t have gotten as involved as I did.

Conner Paulson:

  1. I’m crazy, quirky, funny, and enthusiastic.
  2. I love theatre. I do competitive theatre and choir.
  3. My favorite color is green.
  4. I love cheese.
  5. I love Crocs. I have 8 pairs of Crocs.

Senior Advice- Do your homework and do not procrastinate. I procrastinated every single day of Junior year and it was rough so get your homework done and don’t procrastinate.

Mitchell Sevier:

  1. I do Genetics Research up at William Jewell.
  2. I’m on the Varsity Swim and Dive Team.
  3. I’m in Chemistry and Physics Club.
  4. I’m in Concert Choir.
  5. I’m in National Honor Society.

Senior Advice- My advice to incoming seniors would be to make sure you continue to take school seriously and have a lot of fun because senior year is a lot of fun. It’s a good time.

Jake Stouffer:

  1. I’ve played percussion for 7 years.
  2. I have the cutest dog in the world.
  3. I played baseball for 11 years, but then I hurt my elbow, so I couldn’t play anymore.
  4. My grandpa was a state legislator. He served two terms.
  5. My brother goes to Iowa State.

Senior Advice- My senior advice would be to get your college applications done as soon as possible. My brother waited for a while and I’m trying not to do that. The longer you wait, the tougher it is to get accepted. Then you don’t have as many choices, as where your room is or things like that. Get your applications done and all your scholarship stuff.

Justen Willhite:

  1. I am a fraternal twin with Jaxen Willhite.
  2. I’ve been in almost 20 different theatrical productions.
  3. I have been in drama club for four years but this is my first year as president.
  4. I was in the very first year of our school’s Cupcake Club.
  5. I plan on studying musical theatre when I go to college.

Senior Advice- You are going to be your own worst enemy if you procrastinate too much. I’m living it as I speak right now but just make sure you do your work or you’re going to hate yourself later.
