The Courtwarming candidates for the 2018 year have been chosen. Both the mens and womens basketball teams have selected 5 students who they feel represent the school and their sport in a positive way.

Queen Candidates: 

Emily Fuller 

School Involvement:

  • Student Council- Exec officer and Historian
  • Student Ambassador
  • EIP
  • Educators Rising

Future plans: Emily plans to study nursing at Missouri State University

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Being in Mr.Gates AP Gov class junior year because he rocks and phone calling is fun.”

Kenzie Eklund 

School Involvement:

  • Newspaper
  • Student Council

Future plans: Kenzie plans on attending UMKC Pharmacy School

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Senior year because I only have 2 classes.”

Tamia Emerson

School Involvement:

  • Basketball
  • Track
  • Student Council

Future plans: Tamia plans to attend college

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Playing sports and creating new friendships.”

Jordan McCue 

School Involvement:

  • Sports Marketing
  • DECA
  • EIP
  • NHS

Future plans: Jordan plans to attend Bradley University and major in sports communication, and minor in marketing

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Being in sports marketing and creating a fun, exciting gameday atmosphere.”

King candidates 

Robbie Hanson

School Involvement:

  • Basketball

Future plans: Robbie plans to go play basketball in college

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Basketball season because I like to play the game and be with my teammates.”

Tyson Cathy

School Involvement:

  • Basketball
  • Sports Marketing

Future plans: Tyson plans on playing college basketball

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Home games because of the environment and my friends”

Macaleb Hughes

School Involvement:

  • Basketball

Future plans: Macaleb plans on playing college basketball

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Basketball season because I love to play the game.”

Jordan Duberry

  • Rugby

Future plans: Jordan plans on going into the military

Favorite Part of Highschool: “Meeting new people and having lasting friendships.”
