Earlier this year, Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins. Many LNHS students are hopeful that the Chiefs new offensive line without Tyreek Hill will still result in a successful season.

     “Losing Tyreek, I think he’s one of the best, most dynamic players in the league so that obviously hurts but we brought in a lot of other good receivers,” Senior Jacob Tiffany said.

     Tiffany regularly watches football with his family and has been influenced by the sport ever since he was little.

     “I’m excited for this football season because of fantasy football. I love every Sunday going over to my friend’s house and competing and watching the Chiefs play. Hopefully we can win another championship,” Senior Synjin Stockton said.

     Stockton’s favorite player is Travis Kelce because he likes how he always seems to follow through when his team needs him.

     “For sure, I mean I think we’ve got the best quarterback in the league. We’ve made a lot of additions on defense and offense, so I mean we’ve been to the Super Bowl before, so I definitely think it’s possible,” Tiffany said.

     Tiffany’s favorite Chiefs game he’s been to was the AFC Championship game against the Titans the season the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.

     At first, Stockton thought Patrick Mahomes’ 500 million dollar contract was too high but the more he thought about it, he concluded that the deal was great compared to how much he’ll be making in the future.
