The Pope Brings Hope

Pope Francis visited the United States of America on Tuesday September 22nd and stayed until the following Sunday the 27th. The Pope visiting the United States turned out to be a successful visit to go down in history. During the short time Pope Francis was here he managed to hold huge worship services, visit the homeless, give speeches at the White house, congress, and the United Nations. This memorable visit featured stops at three East Coast cities, each stop the pope managed to attract virtually every news outlet having every event packed with so many people attending. The common question has been what did the pope actually “do”, and what was the actual point of the entire visit. Although one cannot know for sure the predictions made have been that the pope was making a call towards climate change, immigration, and economic equality. The pope declared that society should be doing more to help the economically struggling families. The pope spoke with incredible authority on the sanctity of life, importance of marriage, and value of family. The pope is a man who values the gift of peace, going to country’s specifically to pray for the principle of peace within them. The pope’s visit to the United States was under peaceful conditions simply attempting to fix world problems one-step at a time. With the help of other world leaders and visits to separate country’s personally, the Pope continues to portray his role as an international leader effectively.
