Guys and Dolls

August 30, 2018

Liberty North’s Theatre department is known for its extravagant productions ranging from Mary Poppins to Seussical. This year, they are putting on Guys and Dolls.

“We looked at a lot of musicals and we thought it was the best one to fit the group of people we have,” Director David Young said.

Not only are the directors excited for this year, Multiple students have shown interest in this year’s show.

“A lot of the cast wanted Guys and dolls. I can tell that it’s mostly a production favorite and they’re kind of excited about it, Junior Jacob Rains said.

This show is full of 1950’s fashion, so the costume crew has been hard at work researching and collecting different pieces that would best accent the show the best.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the costume crew and be a part of the show because it’s a show I’ve really loved since I first saw it a long time ago,” Senior Regan McKay said.

The Cast and crew will be working on this show for around three months, and will be performing the show on November 15, 16, and 17th.

“It’s gonna be really really bright and fun to watch, this one’s just a really fun show that everyone would enjoy,”  McKay said.
